I purchased this product mainly for making soups. I hated having to put soup into the blender in bathces to puree it. Not only was this time consuming but I usually made a huge mess in the process. Well this product solved that problem for me. I made a soup the other day and used this product to blend the soup right in the pot! While I was nervous about "only" being able to run the blender continuously for 50 seconds, I learned that 50 seconds is more than enough time for this item to blend a whole pot of soup, in fact it only took about 15-20 seconds.
I have also used the grinder attachment to mince fresh parsley, and have also made a smoothie using the included measuring cup and blender.
Although the manual states that you cannot run this product for more than a certain amount of time (depending on the function), I have learned that this product can accomplish those tasks easily in the time frames given (it took 5 seconds to mince my parsley!).
I cannot comment on the warranty as I have not had a problem with this item, but for the price if it fails I would most likely just buy a new one.
My only complaint would be that the whisk attachment seems very flimsy, but I have not actually used the whisk attachment yet, so I assume that it will work just fine for light tasks such as whisking egg whites. Although based on the feel of it I would not use it for much else.
However, I have a feeling that I am going to continue to find uses for this wonderful little gadget. For the price this item is a great buy.

I have had this blender for about a year and have used it weekly for smoothies with great success. Last week I was using it to chop basil and the blade in the chopping bowl sliced into the side of the plastic bowl. Miraculously I kept and located the manual that said it had a 3 year warranty. I called the number, which told me to call another number, I was on hold a very short time. I read the customer service representative my item's serial number and she sent me a new bowl and suggested that she also include a new blade in case my blade had been damaged. Way to go cuisinart.

I got tired of burning my stocks with thin-walled junk pots and decided to do some research. This pot is a big improvement over the standard Cuisinart line of pots and pans and is on par with the better All-Clad pots and other high-end brands. The fit and finish on this unit is excellent and the lid fits like a glove. This is a true 3 layer walled pot... no welded discs to the bottom of the unit (like the bargain stock-pot in the All-Clad brand line-up). Compare the price of this pot with the 'real' 3-wall constructed pots and you'll see a 2-3x improvement in price. I've used this pot ~20 times since I purchased it (each time for multi-hour stock simmering) and it still looks like new. Highly recommended!

I have a number of pieces of Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Stainless cookware and I really love each one. I only wish I learned of this cookware before buying an entire set of another brand. You can't beat this line of cookware for quality and performance at a reasonable price. Like most of the multiclad cookware, it is stainless steel on the outside and inside of the pot or pan with a layer of heat-conducting aluminum sandwiched in between for excellent heat conductivity all across the bottom and all the way up the sides of the vessel. I think the quality of the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro Stainless cookware is on a par with the oh-so-pricey All Clad cookware. It heats quickly and evenly with no hot spots or scorching. You don't need to gun up your burners to their highest settings. With only medium-high heat, you can create beautifully browned meats, fish, caramelized onions, mushrooms, etc. Turn the heat low and create smooth, perfect bechemel or other sauces with no worry of scorching. This cookware will do it all just as well as All Clad and it won't break the bank. My only complaint about it is that the sauce and stock pots and the 3-quart saute pan are a little smaller than their claimed size. This 6-Quart Saucepot with Cover, for instance, only holds 5 1/2 quarts measured to the rim. But, if that 1/2 quart difference isn't a problem, then this is an excellent, highly usable and versatile pot for doing soups, stews, braising, cooking sauces, pasta or any number of cooking tasks. The handles are generously sized and firmly attached. The pot has a convenient curved pouring lip so hot liquids won't run down the outside of the pot when you are trying to pour pasta into a colander or bubbling hot soups into a serving bowl. The lid fits snugly onto the pot to help hold in moisture while simmering or braising. The pot can go right from the stove top into the oven because it is all stainless steel on the outside. I preheat my pans over medium heat for 3 minutes before adding cooking oil (and a little butter) and then I add the food to be browned. Clean-up is easy. Deglaze any stuck-on bits of food or let it soak with some water before washing in hot, sudsy water. Use some Bartenders Friend cleanser for stainless steel to keep these pans looking like knew.

I purchased this about four months ago after another food processor died. My major qualm is the space a food processor can take up, since i have limited space in my kitchen. I liked the fact that the bowl is on top of the motor instead of to the side, which to me means that it takes up less counter space. I also like the fact that- like many of their products- there is a smooth surface where the operating buttons are, which means this can easily be wiped clean.
This is able to handle most of what I throw at it. I only cook for two, so I don't really need a mega capacity one. It comes with the basic blades I need with the grating and slicing, as well as the chopping blade. I had a huge zucchini in the garden- i have memories from when I was a child grating mountains of zucchini with a box grater for my mom and killing my knuckles. This made short work of the zucchini in about thirty seconds.
My gripes. Like most food processors the space on top of the disc blade where food can get hung up and not processed. No biggy.
Then there is plastic construction. I had a little part on it break on the handle tonight that prevented it from locking it into place. I am a careful person and was not doing anything unreasonable when it broke right in the middle of dinner prep.
I got on the phone with kitchenaid and they are going to send me a new bowl free of charge.
So theres the happy ending. When you buy kitchenaid, you may spend a lot up front for a unit, but most times if something breaks, it can be replaced, whereas a lot of lesser units would trash the whole thing and buy a new one.

It chops and purees well, and the size of the chopped pieces can be controlled by the pulse button. The model with the small cup included might have been useful but the sale price on this item dissuaded me from buying that one. Have not yet used any liquids in it so can't comment on that. Caveat: the blades are really sharp- use caution.

Let me firs say, I used to work for Starbucks and was a Coffee Master. I am a bit of purist so I grade a machine a bit harder than the average joe.
What I love:
Cuisinart is one of the few companies that makes a coffee maker that brews at 190 degrees. (This is important because the flavor from your beans doesn't fully extract if the water isn't hot enough. This is usually one of the differences between a cheap coffee maker and a more expensive one. Cheap makers will heat the coffee hot with the hot plate, but it did not "brew" the coffee at the temperature it eventually gets to.)
It doesn't leak and the light when you fill a mug is a nice feature. All the parts come out for easy filling, rinsing, etc. YOu won't be able to put this under a cabinet though because the top still has a lid that would be blocked.
No leaks if the inside over flows or spills either! Any internal overflow drains into the drip tray which is a very nice feature.
The spray head is one of the best I've seen. It fully covers all the coffee grounds. It also brews a whole pot in about 7 minutes without flavor loss. (Machines that brew too fast usually don't get all the flavor out of coffee. Bunn for instance, brews a pot in just 3 minutes and at the right temperature, but the water is forced through too fast and doesn't have enough contact time with the coffee. Coffee is a bit like tea in that it does need to steep a bit, just not nearly as long unless using a French Press, the best method of brewing but the most inconvenient.)
It comes with a permanent flat filter, which saves you from buying one or paper ones. However, and this is a picky issue, cone shaped is much better. The coffee and water contant better with cone and make a better cup. Cuisinart generally uses only cone shaped for that reason, but the design of the machine doesn't allow for that unless they'd make it taller, and it's already almost too tall.
The design is a nice addition to your kitchen counter, and it looks better in person than it does in the picture.
What I don't like:
I was led to believe when the redid this model that the chamber inside was thermal and used "soft heat" to keep the coffee hot for up to four hours. (Soft heat isn't hot plate hot, but keeps just enough each to help a thermal unit stay hot far longer without scorching) This is NOT at all the case. The inside is just a plastic tub with a big hot plate in it. So if you are like me and you hate "baked" coffee that's been on the heating element too long, you won't be happy with the taste of the coffee after the first hour or so. (I'm one of those people who despises mircowaving coffee because it breaks the coffee down and turns it into awful, syrupy sludge... this is also why I generally go with thermal carafes.)
The Coffee Gage is useless. Because there is no carafe, that gage that looks like a gas gage is really needed. With a carafe, you can either see or feel by weight when it's low. I have exchanged this model twice because it doesn't work, and it's going back a third time (and probably for good.)
If you have a household that can tear through a pot of coffee quickly, then this would probably be a great machine for you. With no disrespect to the Folger's drinkers of the world, this machine would probably also be a good fit for you. If you are someone who spends the extra money on better gourmet coffees, this machine will not be your friend. Your first cup or two will be fabulous, but it's will be burnt and gross soon after from the heating plate inside. After this time, you can't tell if you brewed a nice Citusry African, an earthy Indonesian, or cheap Chock Ful O Nuts. It's just burnt sludge.
Maybe next time they update this model, they will spend a little extra effort on the coffee tank inside that replaces the carafe. It's plastic, and the heating element will give a plastic taste over time too. You also have to be careful when taking out the tank because it will burn you if you don't use the cheap plastic handle to lift it out.
Had they made a thermal tank inside with soft heat, I would be giving this 4 stars (it needs a gage that actually works to get 5.) The old model had a cut out in the front to physically show you the coffee level, and something like that would have been better, especially since the coffee isn't enclosed in a thermal housing.
I do recommend Cuisinarts machines with the thermal carafes. They do a great job of holding heat, especially if rinse them with hot water before brewing.
Someday, someone will make the ultimate carafe-less machine... but today is not that day.

Only had Cuisinart's DCC-3000 for 4 days so really need more time for an evaluation. I've owned a few Hamilton Beach Brewstation carafeless models recently and I really like them. The Hamilton Beach units make great coffee but always develop leaking issues sooner or later. If you get to 2 years without a leaking issue you should feel fortunate.
First, the DCC-3000 by Cuisinart is an entirely different level of machine. It's very sturdy, well made and my unit purchased does not look like the picture in Amazon's advertisement. It looks better. The power cord is VERY short, maybe 14-16". Unless you use an extension cord you must locate it directly in front of a power outlet or in an area where it is not beneath an overhead kitchen cabinet. If under a cabinet, the cord just barely allows room to pull out from cabinet, lift the lid on top, and remove the coffee tank for cleaning, without unplugging the unit.
The coffee dispenser turns on a soft LED light above you coffee cup and smartly allows you to view the rising coffee level in the cup.....very nice feature. After 4 days of making my AM coffee, I'm now using the right amount of coffee and water to suit my tastes (strong). I prefer my coffee very hot and most coffee makers don't quite get hot enough for me. The Ham Beach Brewstations excel at hot coffee. The DCC-3000 falls short, almost gets there but I must nuke/microwave each cup for 30-35 seconds to bring to temp. This machine is quiet, brews relatively quickly, but I think a bit slower than a Brewstation.
Bottomline, so far I think this is a great unit, much more substantial, and higher quality than the H/B Brewstation. At current prices, it will cost you $5-20 more than the best Brewmaster (a 47454 Deluxe), but the DCC-3000 has a 3-year warranty rather than 1-year. This unit is classier looking and you'll easily notice the lack of flimsy plastics found in a guaranteed to leak Brewstation. You can use paper filters or the gold-mesh basket that comes with it. Also a charcoal filter with DCC-3000 though I'm unsure if it really makes a difference. With the additional warranty, pricing in the $90's, and higher quality unit I think this is a no-brainer.....buy the Cuisinart DCC-3000.
One-month update
I still like this unit, however, the number one reason to buy a any coffee maker is to make great coffee. As another reviewer said, the coffee is weak/watery. I tried adding more coffee which does modestly help but obviously drives up the cost of making a pot. I use Starbucks coffee......not cheap. I believe the water flows thru the basket/filter too fast....it isn't held in basket long enough to flavor the brew. I'm going to try 2 things......using 2 paper filters instead of one (or use a paper filter with the gold basket?) to slow down water passing thru basket(and hope it doesn't overflow). If that doesn't work I plan to grind my coffee finer, almost as fine as an expresso grind. Hope I don't end up with mess.

I have been through four food processors in the last few years. The Hamilton Beach 70610 is my latest. Not only do I like it the best of any I have used, it is far less expensive than my last one. Prior to the Hamilton Beach 70610 I purchased the very highly rated (by Amazon reviews) Braun K650. I think the Braun is well made. And it is said to be a bargain compared to the Cuisinart and KitchenAid models that cost twice as much. I wanted to love the Braun. However, in my experience the Hamilton Beach 70610 tops the Braun in many critical areas. And the HB costs a small fraction as much as the Braun.
Advantages of the Hamilton Beach 70610:

1. Easier to clean than any other food processor I have seen.
2. Does a much better job chopping the vegetables I frequently use to the size I want them to be. I prepare a lot of leafy greens. Many food processors never get them right. One is left with either large unchopped pieces or, in another instant, a complete mush. This unit gives me a nice uniformly processed result that I can control. I do not tend to end up with a mush. BTW, the Braun was one of the worst food processors for leafy greens.
3. Processes small quantities well. Many food processors have a tendency to splatter the veggies to the sides of the container where they are not chopped. All food processors will do this to some degree. But the Hamilton Beach 70610 is the best of any food processor I have used at minimizing this issue. I was absolutely amazed at how well it chopped up a small bit of ginger, a single clove of garlic and a slice of onion. On this task it not only out-performed every other food processor I have used, it topped my more expensive Wolfgang Puck Variable-Speed Immersion Blender.
4. The slicer disk seems to have an almost magical ability to not suffer from the usual problem of food getting stuck on the top. My unit is still very new and the disk is very sharp, so we'll have to see if this great functioning continues. But even the highly rated Braun with a brand new slicer disk doesn't match the Hamilton Beach 70610 in this area. Today I dropped potatoes down the feed tube while the food processor was running. Even without using the pusher, the potatoes were completely sliced and nothing (absolutely nothing) was left on top of the slicer. I have never seen another food processor do this so well.
5. It has a clean, nicely styled look.
6. The 10-cup-capacity work bowl is effectively larger than competitors's 10-cup bowls because the center tube is taller.
7. It is not burdened by ridiculous, problematic breakage-prone safety devices on the lid. I thoroughly enjoy the simplicity of the lid. It twists easily into position and it provides the needed safety switch -- without the hassle of most other modern food processors. Both the bowl and the lid must be locked in position before the motor will operate. But getting them into position is so easy and simple that other food processor designers should be embarrassed to produce the cumbersome designs they ship out. Even the high end KitchenAid and Cuisinart models could learn a lesson from the Hamilton Beach 70610. This unit proves that it is indeed possible to design a safe food processor that is also simple to use and is free from the fiddly little parts that tend to break off.
8. Good built quality. I would not expect it to be on a par with the Cuisinart and KitchenAid models (and I can't speak from experience), but it is a very close runner up to the Braun I owned. Some people feel the Braun is of superior quality to the Cuisinart and KitchenAid models, so maybe this model holds a higher position than I realize. Certainly it is far, far better quality than similarly priced competitors. And I am totally pleased with its build quality so far. It feels solid. It sounds solid. It looks nice. It doesn't give off funny odors or make strange sounds. It doesn't shake or rattle. The pieces all fit together nicely. It looks like it will last (time will tell).
9. The parts do not stain from processing colorful foods such as carrots quite as easily as other food processors. My other food processors, including the Braun, quickly stained. The plastic around the chopping blades and disks on the Braun stained after one use. This one isn't stain-proof, but it is better than average.
10. It is fast! It processes veggies in no time.
11. Fantastic price for what it delivers.
Disadvantages:

1. Only one slicer disk. It doubles as both a slicer and (by reversing it) a shredder. I would prefer a few more choices. I would not mind paying for the accessories because I saved a bunch of money with this purchase. I read that an optional crinkle cut/fine shredding disk is available separately. Unfortunately, I am not yet able to location any optional accessories for sale. I would like a course shredding blade. Maybe I will find some accessories if I keep looking. However, the high end models such as the Braun, KitchenAid or Cuisinart have a plethora of accessories. I'm sure this unit won't match the high end models in that regard, so if accessories are important to you, consider other options.
2. The feed tube is a bit narrower than competitors. This issue hasn't proven to be a problem for me. I mention it because it may be important to you. From another review, "The feed tube is 1.75x2.75 inches -- not quite large enough to fit a whole cucumber, but certainly large enough for a half cucumber, several carrots or even a block of cheddar cheese."

Given the recent reports on the potential health risk from non-stick cookware, my family decided to go stainless. I liked the performance of clad cookware but reckoned that it might not be a wise choice financially to go all out with All-Clad before I have my own cooking show. The candidates came down to 3 product lines, Anolon Advanced Clad, J.A. Henckels International Classic Clad and Cuisinart Multiclad Pro. The best price I could find for them were all under $200 for 7 pieces, with Anolon having 10 pieces. Being all constructed in full clad, they seem to differ mostly in the handle design before I can do a performance comparison.
Henckels has a huge and unconventional handle. My first impression was it might not fit in my kitchen well. However, it was not until recently that I tried one at a local store. The pan balances well and has one of the most comfortable handles that I ever put my hands on. However, my family needs a larger stock pot and the included 6-quart one doesn't really serve our need.
Anolon has a silicon rubber handle. It's said to withstand the high heat in the oven. However, due to aesthetic preference and concerns about putting synthetic materials in high heat along with food, we decided to go with the Cuisinart set. In the meantime, we separately bought an Anolon Advanced Clad 12" stir fry pan.
The Cuisinart set is a very well made traditional tri-ply cookware with all metal handles. The built differences between Cuisinart and All-Clad is so insignificant to me that it makes the several-hundred-dollar saving and having a set of quality stainless steel cookware set truly a joy. The finish of the Cuisinart pans was superior to the Anolon stir fry pan. However, Anolon's silicon rubber handle obviously is more functional and practical than metal handles since it never becomes slippery or hot in your day-to-day use. I guess this would come down to a personal preference.
The pans both brown well and distribute heat quickly and evenly. The cleaning is also a breeze as long as you heat the pans briefly before cooking. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

I've been using this stuff almost daily since I got married two and a half years ago. We couldn't bear to ask our friends and family to buy us overpriced cookware, but we wanted high performance, so we registered for this instead. No regrets. Though you'll need more pans than this eventually, I have zero complaints for this as a starter set.

I returned, and will just have to wait and see if they make the specialty discs for the 14 cup Elite model.

I had it returned to Amazon, as these discs do not fit the Cuisinart Elite 14-cup Food Processor (this, is the model I have). I had to visit the Cuisinart Web Site to order the proper ones (and, as the Elite 14-cup Food Processor is so new, they had all but the "Grater" disc currently available; therefore I ordered the two "Specialty" discs they have, and will order the Grater disc when it becomes available.

I bought this to replace an older smaller pasta cooker. I have about 20 pieces of the Cuisinart Multiclad Pro cookware but couldn't justify spending over $100 for a large stockpot. The only notable difference is that the Multiclad has the sandwiched aluminum all the way up the sides of the pot. Not really necessary I thought for something I would use mostly for boiling water. Besides, the heat source is only really from below and that extra multiclad surface only adds to the weight.
I love the shiney exterior and the large capacity compared to my previous pasta pot. The steamer insert is a nice little extra but I'm not sure I'd want to haul out this enormous pot just to steam a few veggies. The lid is more domed than Cuisinart's standard lids and has a more sculpted handle. Cleanup is easy but only if you have a very large sink. The handles on both the pot and insert are solid and appear to be very securely attached.
So what's not to like?
This pot was a lot bigger than I anticipated. So large in fact that it doesn't fit in my normal cookware drawer. I ended up having to divide the pot from the insert just so it would fit in the cabinets. And that domed lid just adds to the height. The insert didn't need to stick out of the pot as far as it does and the handles on the insert come out further than those on the pot itself. Where the pot will barely fit, the insert won't just because of the handles. The other problem with the height of this pot comes when you try to use it on your stove. I nearly have to stick my head under the fan hood to see inside it!
The inside of both the pasta insert and the steamer basket won't drain completely. There are no drain holes along the bottom outer edges so the water continues to drip after removing it from the pot whenever it's tilted. I'm also not sure why they made the outsides of the insert and steam basket so shiny but made the insides brushed. This is almost the opposite of their fry pans. A shiny smooth inside would have made cleanup easier without the use of Teflon.
It would have received 5 stars except for these minor issues.

This was the 2nd choice of America's Test Kitchen. The first choice was about $350. I am very pleased with this steamer. I have used it to cook mustard greens, boil corn on the cob, and cook down apples for apple butter. It is well-made with a heavy bottom. It stays shiny like new, cleans up easily, and is so useful for larger cooking needs. Since buying this I have also purchased a complete set of pots by Cuisinart. Very good quality cookware.

Several weeks ago,my Cuisinart 12 coffeemaker poured out it's last cup of coffee. I purchased the DCC 2650 because of the fast brew, visual water table and appearance. I want you to know I had a model many years ago and when it retired; I purchased another upscale brand which let me down. The purchase of Cuisinart is based on the ability of cuisinart designers who build a better machine. This is way easier for me because I love to be able to to see the level of the water from the outside. Actually, that feature has been on my wish list for cuisinart. The button plaement on the top around the clock is functional and easy to use.The reg or bold button works like a dream and the pot stays on for four hours which I prefer to other coffemakers which shut down after 2 or 3 hrs. I do not use the auto turn on or the grab it quick cup feature. I like the carafe heat temp on the right which allows a person to have warm to very hot coffee. I purchased the burr grinder from cuisinart. I replaced the cuisinart blade grinder and believe me this machine is a great companion to this coffeemaker. Now, I would never tell anyone how to spend their money but if you are on the fence, GO FOR IT!

I replaced by old DCC-1200 that died perhaps a little early (2 years) with this new model. I really like the ability to see the water level on the outside as I fill it. The old one was hard to fill without looking inside as you poured and you had to have good lighting to see the level. This is all taken care of with this new model. In addition it has a bold/normal setting for brewing, but I can't tell a lot of difference. Otherwise it makes just as good coffee as the older Cuisinart, which is good coffee in my estimation. I rate this as 4 stars as it shouldn't cost quite as much as it does.
